Hiba is a premium Japanese wood, a type of Cypress that grows in the snowy mountains of Aomori prefecture. The tree produces Hinokitiol, an essential oil that has a soothing therapeutic fragrance that is anti-bacterial, deodorizing, and insect repellent.
Wooden bath tubs in Japan are often made of a Cypress wood. Use a few drops of the Hiba Wood Oil in your bath to experience the relaxing scents of a Japanese onsen (hot spring) or heat in an aroma pot to fill the room with scents of a snowy forest.
